The Blue Collar Tour Jan. 20th

WHAT IS THE BLUE COLLAR TOUR?

The 2024 Blue Collar Tour is an exciting way to get high school students interested in the Blue Collar Trades. With all of the distractions and short attention spans in today's kids, Western Welding Academy created an experience never done by a trade school before. They have armed themselves with a tour bus, welding rig, and a trailer full of giveaways. Each event lasts 4-6 hours and includes hands-on welding demonstrations, SWAG and tool giveaways, and highlights of the benefits of Blue Collar Trades in America.

Livermore

History

Livermore was a railroad town named after Robert Livermore, a local rancher.  In 1869, Western Pacific Railroad, established its flag post and the official U.S. post office opened its doors. Coal mining was big business and the area is known as one of California's oldest wine regions dating back to 1840.

During the early years, Livermore’s downtown was well known for large hotels that graced the street corners.
