Golden State Lumber decides who's eligible and how much credit each person earns. The program is built for team members in safety-focused roles, and the roles below are a good guide. Not sure if you qualify? Check with your supervisor or GSL HR.

Eligible employees will receive $100 in starting Safety Points on October 1. Employees must have been hired by August 31, 2026, to earn Safety Points for September 2026.
After that, employees can earn up to $30 per month through Stretch & Flex participation, Safety Meeting attendance, Proactive Safety Reporting, and Safe Work Compliance.

Safety Points do not expire while you are employed with Golden State Lumber. If you leave GSL, you will have 30 days from your termination date to redeem your remaining points online or in store.
Yes. Safety Points can be used at any Purpose Built location. Employees will provide the email address or phone number associated with their account for identification.
If you return an item purchased with store credit, you will be refunded that store credit to your account.
