Who are we looking for:

The manager of Ops Services is the most organized in the room and understands how important communication to/from field operations to our support center is to the success of Purpose-Built. The overall goal is to streamline communications and ensure key communications to our field operations are relevant, clear, and actionable based on the strategic roadmap of the organization.

Reporting directly to our Director of Retail, you’ll play a critical role in defining ‘best methods’ operational excellence and enabling Purpose-Built to enter a period of rapid growth.

This is what a successful team member does…

  • Own all communications between the support center and retail operations including, but not limited to, Store operations, E-commerce, and B2B Lines of Business.
  • Optimizing operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assisting with the implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Assisting the opening and coordination of new stores including, but not limited to, setting up utilities, planning labor, scheduling outside vendors, etc.
  • Identifying ways to improve customer experiences.
  • Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels of hero products by being a liaison to procurement and merchandising departments.
  • Schedule the onboarding of key team members and ensure their experience joining Purpose-Built is on-target with our blue-prints.
  • Track and convey operational performance.
  • Track and convey the status of all contests, critical training initiatives, and any other needs to ensure a single source of information and status.
  • Maintain company intranet and all relevant files utilized by operations to ensure they have quick access to the most updated & relevant documents for all core processes
  • Host and coordinate monthly kick-off calls (Blueprints) proactively and ensure any/all promotional materials are being created on time and on budget for store rollouts.
  • Interact with key customers and vendors to solve problems and bring relevant information back to the leadership and store operations teams.


The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as an operations specialist or in a similar role.
  • Project management and leadership experience.
  • Ability to analyze and improve operational processes.
  • Strong people management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Has a competitive spirit, while maintaining a team focus
  • Is resilient and bounces back quickly from setbacks
  • Seeks out coaching from leaders and peers to improve productivity; leads own learning
